The Costa del Sol is undoubtedly one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world.
It stretches from Almeria to Tarifa and caters for all tastes, ages and nationalities. Miles of sandy beaches, a fantastic warm climate all year round and modern facilities keep tourists coming back year after year to resorts such as Torremolinos, Benalmadena, Fuengirola, Marbella and Estepona.
Although the Costa del Sol is a piece of bustling and tourist-rich Spain, it offers much more peace, relaxation and beautiful, unspoilt surroundings. It boasts a year-round pleasant climate with over 300 days of sunshine. Almost 150 kilometres of coastline are covered by perfect beaches washed by emerald seas.

Malaga is the capital of the province of Malaga and the second largest city in Andalusia with 600,000 inhabitants. The locals are very friendly and extroverted people, which may have something to do with the great year-round weather, the fabulous Mediterranean food or simply because they live in a beautiful cultural city by the sea.
The seaside resort of Benalmadena has grown rapidly in recent decades thanks to tourism and has become one of the best locations on the Costa del Sol.
Marbella is one of the most representative tourist towns of the Mediterranean and is a favourite destination for holidaymakers. Nerja is located at the eastern tip of the Costa del Sol, in the province of Malaga, 50 kilometres from the city of Malaga and within an hour and a half's drive of Granada and the ski resort of Sierra Nevada.
Fuengirola is located between Malaga and Marbella, close to the towns of Mijas and Benalmadena, it is one of the most popular tourist towns on the Costa del Sol; it is a great holiday choice for families and children with a fantastic range of beaches, facilities and activities.
The coast boasts one of the world's highest concentrations of golf courses, to the extent that it is often nicknamed the "Costa del Golf".
