It is this natural wealth that gave birth to the "Natural Estepona" programme, which links hiking trails in Estepona that take you hundreds of kilometres through enclaves in the heart of nature, so that you can enjoy clean air and outdoor activities while taking in the spectacular views.

PASEO DE LOS PINSAPOS

The popular road known as the Paseo de los Pinsapos is a straightforward path that winds its way through the only Spanish peridot dishes that exist in the world. The Spanish fir is one of the botanical jewels of the Sierra Bermeja. It is a sturdy fir up to 30 feet tall with a pyramidal crown.

PICO DE LOS REALES

The road ascending to Los Reales de Sierra Bermeja or the Agustín Lozano refuge offers some exceptional views, there is also a trail that leads to the highest peak of the mountain - Andalusian Local 168 - which reaches up to an altitude of 1 452 metres At its highest point.

RUTA FUENTE PORREJÓN

A straightforward road leading to the Fuente del Porrejón wandering through dense resinous pine forests, which have an important place in Estepona's economy.

CASA DE LOS GUARDAS

This route is very easy and can be done on foot or by bicycle. You will find a beautiful cork oak forest where the Cortijo de Nicola is located.

CAMINO DE LA ARTESA

A straight route through the highest parts of the "Artesa-Altabacales" circuit through dense pine forests on a path that allows you to see the basins of the Velerín, Castor and Padrón rivers and to see the valleys from privileged vantage points.

INTEGRAL ESTEPONA

The road starts from Estepona ascending to Puerto de Peñas Blancas, pass through the northern face of the Sierra Bermeja to reach the heart of the Valle del Genal via Jubrique at the confluence of  Jubrique, Genalguacil and Algatocin.
